Cornelius Nursery Shows Customers how to Transform their Home for the Christmas Season
FORT WORTH, TX — Oct. 19, 2011 – Cornelius Nursery locations in Houston, Texas have transformed their interior gift shops into a winter wonderland featuring themed trees, delicate ornaments and a plethora of holiday gifts. Customers can experience the magic on Nov. 4 and 5 when the garden center hosts its annual Christmas Open House.
On Friday, Nov. 4 both garden centers will present bow-making, wreath-making and centerpiece demonstrations for interested customers and decorators. Customers can learn how to make the famous “Cornelius Bow” developed by the wife of the company’s founder, Mrs. Cornelius. Gardening author, Cherie Colburn, and Houston Chronicle Lifestyle editor, Molly Glentzer, will be at both locations selling signed copies of their respective books. Holly Crochet, a Dallas-based artist, will share her unique Santa Claus decorations made from Cypress Tree Knees. Light refreshments will be served, and drawings for gift cards, ornaments and products will be held.
“We’re excited to gear up for Christmas. At Cornelius Nursery, we’re ready to help customers transform their homes for the season,” Kimberly Bird,
