Insider information for our Garden Club members: We’ve got two fantastic, brand-new shrubs coming into our stores. Both are from Garden Debut—whose very tagline is “Great New Plants.” So you know this is going to be good.

May I proudly introduce you to Garnet Fire™ Loropetalum and Southern Lady® Pieris? (Wait. I just did. Anyway…)

Garnet Fire isn’t your run-of-the mill Fringeflower. The foliage is unbelievably rich—multi-faceted, really. When you look at this shrub in morning light versus afternoon sun you’ll notice hues ranging from dark green to an almost-true burgundy. Garnet Fire lights up the garden in late Winter through Spring with hundreds of garnet-red, tassel-like flowers.

Southern Lady Pieris is the ultimate in elegance. It’s an evergreen shrub that produces gracefully drooping white flowers. If you’re looking to add a hint of “romance” to your garden, you’ve got to check this out.
