Lauren Highland, store supervisor at Calloway’s Nursery’s Flower Mound location, can’t remember exactly how her desire to create a fairy garden took root.
“But once I had the idea in my head I could not shake it loose!” she says. “I just had to have one! I began thinking of where to put it and what plants to use and found the task challenging, but a fun challenge.”

My dear fellow parents (and grandparents!): There’s nothing like the whirlwind of activities we cram into the last two weeks of the school year, right? I imagine your days—like mine—have been filled with planning end-of-year parties, attending talent shows, graduation ceremonies…the list goes on.
Take a deep breath. The chaos will subside in the next few weeks. And then—Summer break! Hooray!
