Can new bromiliad sprouts be separated from the bigger plant without damaging either one?
I have two beautiful bromiliads on my covered patio. They must be happy because both of them have at least two sprouts very near the stalk of the big plant. Should I just leave them until they overtake the pot or split them now?
Wait to remove the pups on your Bromeliad until they are about 2/3 the size of the mother plant, and at this point they may even begin to produce some small roots that you can take with them.
Thanks for your inquiry.
