I live in McKinney, TX. I have a Yucka Plant that now has multiple growths. Can I transplant these new growths without causing harm to the orignal plant? If so, how? What do I do with all the leave that have turned brown towards the bottom of the yucka pl

Yucca plants are very durable, but when you say multiple growths, are you talking about sprouts from the soil, or are you talking about branches that have appeared along the trunk of your main plant? If you have the sprouts in the soil, it may be possible to remove these to a new location and multiply them throughout your garden. You may have to remove the entire plant, carefully cut the sprouts from the main plant taking some attached roots with the sprouts, then replant them in a new location. If you cannot separate these sprouts with attached roots, they may not survive after being removed, but your main plant should be fine if you can replant it immediately. As for the brown leaves on the bottom of the plant, these can be either left in place, or you can cut them away with a sharp knife or pruner, cutting closely and cleanly to the main trunk.

Thanks for your inquiry,
