Gardening Events at Cornelius Nursery

Cornelius and Calloway’s Nursery offer several educational gardening events throughout the year – many of them at no charge. Find out about special sales and garden contests as well as how we support the local community. Be the first to learn about these events by joining the Garden Club.

Learn more about some of these garden center events:

• Weekly Gardening Clinics 
  Each week we feature a different gardening topic.  The clinics are free and take place at each location. From soil preparation to window sill gardening, you’re sure to learn something new!

• Special Events 
  Throughout the year, Cornelius and Calloway’s hosts several gardening events for the individual gardener and entire gardening families. The events include an educational portion where attendees can learn from one of our many Texas Certified Nursery Professionals. Visit our special events to learn what’s going on this year!

• Interior Christmas Open House  
  Please join us in celebrating this holiday season with an Open House. Each holiday season, we preview our Christmas selection in November. We invite you to see holiday decorations, custom design pieces and much more.

• Callie’s Kids Gardening
  Throughout the year little gardeners ages 5 to 10 can join us and learn more about nature and gardening. They will have the opportunity to take a completed project home with them.

• Garden Contests 
  Cornelius and Calloway’s Nursery as well as some of our premier vendor partners sponsor annual contests where gardeners can showcase their landscapes and displays for a chance to earn garden gift cards.
