How do I get rid of crabgrass in my Bermuda lawn?

Our Bermuda grass lawn is infested with crabgrass in some areas. We've used the Crab-e-rad product with little effect. At a loss on what to do next except use Roundup and then reseed in the fall. Any suggestions? How long would I have to wait to re-seed after a Roundup application?
Thanks - Frustrated homeowner

Many gardeners go in immediately after the RoundUp dries and start to replant. But you might want to clear out the dead grass, get down to clean, clear soil so that the seed can contact the soil well enough to germinate. Of course, remember that Bermuda will not be happy trying to germinate when the temperatures begin to fall. The best time to sow Bermuda Grass seed is in the late Spring when temperatures are on the rise.
