Plant Swap
Hi Trish, There isn't a plant swap at Calloway's and Cornelius Nursery planned for 2013. Check back with us. We hope to offer one in the future. Follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/mytexasgarden or join the My Texas Garden email club to receive notices of upcoming events. Happy Gardening!
Plant swap
I have asparagus starts, red and orange cannas, the long mexican petunias, maybe some bearded iris and anything else I can thin out. Would like some agapanthus, holly fern, and spider plants if they can make it outside over the winter. I'm happy to trade or give away my plants as I'd rather see them get a new home than end up in the compost pile.
perennial swap
Hi there,
After having a baby this spring, my beds have been neglected. I am afraid that all I will have may be orange canna lillies. I might have some asters, too, but I don't really have much left.
I would love any extras anyone has - the orange day lillies sound beautiful.
Day Lilies and Lantana
On swap day, I'll have dark orange and yellow day lilies. They were stunning this year against yellow/orange lantana. I'll also bring a mixed bag of perennials that need a better home than their current locations. Will anyone have any drought-tolerant prairie grasses?
Perennial Swap
I have lots of iris bulbs and some miscellaneous flowers. I am interested in anything that can make it through the summers.
Rock roses
I have rock roses and Mexican petunia plants. Need garden pholox
Love them
I would love some rock rose and mex. Petunia! I dont have much to trade, as just starting out, as stated in my post below.
Thanks
Linda

Rock Roses
I would love to have one of your rock roses! On swap day, I'll have dark orange and yellow day lilies, and yellow lantana. They were stunning this year against yellow/orange lantana.

Hello. I am looking for any purple Clematis vines, also Sweet Autumn Clematis (white scented flower), any hot pink variety of Crinum Lillies, any color Spider Lillies and blue Agapanthus (lily of the nile).
I can bring yellow or orange striped tropical canna's if anyone is interested.
Please let me know if you plan to attend if you have any of the above flowers I am needing. Thank you!

I have mostly seeds: moon flower, dessert willow, zinnias in lots of colors, blue bonnet. I also have spider plant off-shoots. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Plant Swap in Hurst
I will have extra Ginger plants, garlic chives, Dwarf Katie Ruellia(Mexican Petunia) in blue/purple, cockscomb seeds, Sea Oats, Lemon Basil Seeds
Looking for Spider Lily bulbs preferably red and interesting perennials

Cockscomb seeds
Linda, are your seeds for the old fashioned tall variety of cockscomb?
If so, I would like to try them out. My mother had the tall variety and I haven't seen it anywhere since the 1970s. I kept wondering what happened to it.
I do not have spider lily to trade, but I do have a pretty and interesting perennial called Belita ground orchid. My version has a hot pink/magenta flower and green leaves which you need to cut off at ground level when they turn brown during the winter.

New gardener
I am fairly new to all of this. Gardening has become my stress relief outlet, as I have recently finished radiation therepy for brain cancer. I have to take 1 day at a time, as I will never know when it will end. Flowers give me the chance to see new life... Hopefully more the better. :)
Since I am new... I dont have anything to swap. But if anyone could help me get started I would greatly appriciate it!!! I have both sunny and shady areas. Have recently experimented w seeds, bulbs, succulents, cactus, vines, perenialx, and annuals. I wont be picky at all, will gladly take anything that I can get.
Please just let me know. I am looking forward to meeting fellow garden lovers! I live in arlington, but will be coming to hurst for this. I can also be contacted at Lsarabia14@yahoo.com please put flowers in title so hopefully it wont go to my junk mail.
Thank you in advance!
Linda
