Calloway’s Nursery in Mesquite opened April 11, 1987.  Since then, they have spent more than two decades offering premium plants and garden goods, expert Texas garden advice and an easy shopping experience.  In 2012, Star Community Readers voted Mequite as Best Garden Center.

We call them Color Creations.  Browse the Mesquite selection of Color Creations for inspiration and ideas to create your own containers.  Or choose from ready-made containers for your decorating or gift giving enjoyment.  And if you need something special.  Ask about our custom made containers.  This White Container Garden Trio sample was custom made and delivered for a customer.

The Mesquite location had 9 entries in the Best Quality Tomatoes category and 5 entries in the Largest Tomato category in its Tomato Contest on Saturday, June 25, 2011.

The winners for 2011 are:

Best Quality:
1st place:  Ron Foster, Variety: Cherokee Purple
2nd place:Robbie Amos, Variety: Sweet 100

Largest Tomato:
1st place: Sena Hairgrove, (28 oz.) Variety: Kosovo
2nd place:  Jim Hall, (8 oz.) Variety: Beefsteak

Star Community Readers voted Mesquite as Best Garden Center.

As a result of their focus on service, this Mesquite Garden Center was voted Best Nursery/Landscape for the Mesquite area in 2010 by Neighbors Choice from The Dallas Morning News.

First Place Winner of the Cool Summer Garden Display Contest in 2007, 2008 and Second Place Winner in 2010, Mesquite stands out as a creative Garden Center.
