Hi!
I have Purple cone flower, salvia, lamb ears, and some other small plants to trade.
My name is Ana.
See you there!
It is going to be fun!

Ice plant (Carpobrotus edulis or chilensis)

I love growing this plant in pots, both for the fat leaves and the pretty pink flowers. It survived this winter in two shallow hanging containers that I'd been hand-watering.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carpobrotus_edulis

I had to thin it down a bit this spring (split at the roots) so I could plant some other succulents with them. The extras have been growing happily and blooming too. I'd love to trade that, maybe for some other varieties like the stone plants (Lithops.)

Yucca anyone???

trade

I am interested in horehound, lavender, mint. I have pasion vine, iris, crinum lily, purple cone flower, rose of sharon, four o'clock seeds, red canna. Peggy

First time too

This is my first time to the trade too, so I was wondering the same thing.

Since I'm bringing some stuff that roots really easily anyway, I was just going to bring some cuttings that will be wrapped in wet paper towels for people to have if they want. That's how the mint started in the backyard...from some little cuttings wrapped in wet paper towels..and it sure has grown!! So, I think it'll probably be OK to bring our cuttings in wet paper towels...

Ben

Plants

Hi
I will be bringing
Ruela pink flower
Canas yellow flower
Jade varigated
Asian jasmine
Looking forward to the swap!

Variegated jade

Succulent ground covers

I have various hardy succulent ground covers that can be thrown on the ground to take root; great for filling between flagstones or covering bare areas with different colors and textures. I am always on the lookout for succulent varieties that I don't have yet. If you have more senecio than you want, I lost most of that last summer.

Right now I'm also looking for a variegated little-leaf jade - the solid-color big-leaf jade I had for years succumbed to the heat last summer. Also looking for seeds or plants of Hinckley's Columbine and Corn Poppy (saw these two in a magazine featuring an Austin garden).

Looking forward to this event!

Charlotte

Oak trees

This is our first spring in Texas. We have bought a home that needs some help with landscaping. Would we be able to participate without plants to trade this year?

I attended last year and a lot the people were willing to share even without a trade, so join us. Maybe you'll get lucky. I always bring extras, too.
