Swap List- Deya
This will be my first plant swap so I'm not sure how to do this. I just have a few plants and they are mostly houseplants. The few garden plants I can have cuttings off are the pink (pastel) Lantana, and the Boxwood. The houseplants that I have are Arrowhead, Pothos plant, Boston fern, an Aloe, and I think the Begonia is called cracklin rose. The plants I hope to find are Wild onions, Russian sage, Salvia nemorosa "blue hill", Henry Duekberg salvia, Walker's low catmint, Santolinas, or the Rose Souvenir de la Malmaison.
Begonia?
I will put your name on some healthy cuttings of Souvenir de la Malmaison, if you can put mine on a couple of starts of your begonia.
This is fun!
Kathy

I also have a small Sago Palm in a reasonable sized plastic pot. I just researched this plant and it is extremely toxic to dogs. We have dogs and foster dogs so I'd like to give it to someone who doesn't have any pets.
Looking forward to the swap!!
Passion vine
I have morning glory (pink) , summer poinsettia, carolina jasmine, turks cap, tropical milkweed and (varegated) artemesia that I might be able to swap for a passion vine! :)
Belinda
Small sago palm?
Hi Kim,
If that's not been spoken for, I would love to swap for that. Check my list or just ask, I might have something safe for your four-legged family members or know someone who does. Foster Dogs Rock!
Thanks,
Kathy B and Vinnie (the adopted basenji)

Kim,
I would love a starter of the passion vine (or cuttings with instructions on how to start them). In addition to the wild onion bulbs and cuttings from the hardy rose bush I have listed below, I also have seeds I have saved from Swiss chard, Coriander, Greek Oregano, Cinnamon Basil, and Marjoram.
Please let me know if you would like to trade for any of these -
Thanks,
Stella

Ruellia
I can provide Ruellia for transplant. This is one of my favorite plants; I have already successfully divided and transplanted in my own yard. It needs to be divided again.
At the moment, not sure what I am hoping to find for my yard. Just like the idea of swapping.
Ruellia
I would like some Ruellia, please. My list is titled "Kim's Swap List"; let me know if there is anything you are interested in!
thanks,
Kim

I would be interested in some spider plants and some of your cuttings for the fall swap. My list titled "Kim's Swap List".
Thanks,
Kim
WOULD LIKE NANCY H
Purple Iris & Spider Plants 6 each if possible
fall swap
I am looking for Texas bulbs (daffodils, tulips, crinums, lillies, etc). I have small rooted pomegranates trimmings to trade. I also have some plants I bought this spring for my garden, then decided are not the right style for my woodland themed garden. These include a couple tall potted cannas, broom, and fringe flower.
If you have bulbs, but I do not have something you are interested in, please let me know. Finding local bulbs definitely has value to me, so we can probably work something out. I'm still pretty new to gardening in Texas, so I don't have much to trade, but finding bulbs for my garden is my goal this fall!.
Khrys
Rooted pomegranates?
I would love to trade for a nice pomegranate. Check out my list above.
=) Kathy B
FALL SWAP - Nancy H
Will trade : Yellow Iris, Orange/Yellow Day Lillies,
Red Spider Lilly, Water Rooted Algerian Ivy
Would like: any flowering bulbs, Crocus, Hellebores, Dwarf Mondo grass, Hollyhocks, White edged Hostas.
Dwarf Mondo Grass
I have maybe 2 dozen plants, possibly more. I'll bring what I can find. Would like yellow iris and yellow day liilies.
Judy S
Orange/Yellow Day Lillies
I would love to take as many as you will allow me. But I have only common indoor ivy to trade. In fact, almost 100 seperately planted little house ivy plants that have turned part of my house into a Tarzan Movie Set. Would you accept any indoor ivy for your day lillies?
If not, is it alright to offer you cash?
Being a 1st time swapper, I don't know if this is against the rules or even just frowned upon.
I very much do not want to offend, so please let me know what is possible and what is allowe?
Many thanks, S.Taylor.
red spider lillies
Nancy, I dont have anything to swap, but I would love some of your red spider lillies. Thanks Dinah!
Edible Lebanese Grape Leaves Plant, Small Red Rose, chives, fig,
Banana, nandina, what else?
The Grape plant is the one for dolmas, etc. It does not produce grapes, and I don't think you can find it anywhere. I got cuttings and then mother plant when neighbor moved. Easy to grow in ground or pot.
I'll have to walk around the yard to see what else I have. Let me know so I can repot plants.
Nancy
Grape Leaves Plant
I would to have some grape leaf plant cuttings and some chives if possible.
Thanks,
Kim
Edible Lebanese Grape Leaves Plant
I would love a start from this plant. I have a ton of uncommon but good hearty plants/seeds for here in TX, listed under the uncommon seeds posting. I also have some seed for a cranberry hibiscus that is goregeous but so far I only had one plant come up. I can try for another in the next few weeks to trade. They are a bright red edible trellising hedge. -Anna
wild onions
I can dig up some wild onions (the bulbs are very small, but you can use them as green onions, and they have pretty white blooms in the spring) if anyone is interested...
wild onions --
I would love to take as many as you will allow me. But I have only common indoor ivy to trade. In fact, almost 100 seperately planted little house ivy plants that have turned part of my house into a Tarzan Movie Set. Would you accept any indoor ivy for your onions? S.Taylor.
indoor ivy
Sure! I am actually in need of indoor plants, so I will gladly take one or two ivy plants in exchange for as many wild onions as I can dig up:)
VERY well-suited to our heavy clay soil
These will take over my entire garden bed (in partial shade) if I don't pull some up!
cuttings from VERY hardy Rose bush
I inherited a red rose bush with my property that I have never watered (strangely, it tends to branch over and down into my pond, even though I have never heard of plants getting water this way...), but continues to thrive and bloom! I can bring cuttings if anyone is interested in trying to root this interesting specimen.
yellow cannas to give away
I have dozens of yellow cannas that grow so hardily that I cannot keep up with them. I replant one and a few weeks later, I have 3. Now that summer is almost over, I have resorted to throwing them away. I will bring many to share.
Yellow Cannans
I would like some of your cannas, please. My list is titled "Kim's Swap List". Please let me know if you want anything from my list.
Thanks,
Kim
Yellow Cannas -
My red canna have taken a beating this year so I would love to take as many yellows as you will allow me, to fill - as many spoilt spots as possible.
I have only common indoor ivy to trade. In fact, so many my son makes fun of my kitchen and living room. This week he came in with a machette, claiming that he had to slash his way through my undergrowth!
Would you accept any indoor ivy for your cannas?
I offered some house ivyies for trade to another, saying that if ivy is not wanted, I could offer a modest payment instead with the proviso to each and all that I don't know if simply cash is allowed or bad manners.
Please let me know as I don't want to insult you or break the rules.
Many Thanks, S. Taylor
STaylor.
