Rosemary plant.
I'm thinking of purchasing a rosemary plant instead of a small Christmas tree. What do I do with it afterward?
Rosemary requires full sun and soil that drains well. They are very hardy in the garden when planted correctly and remain evergreen throughout the Winter. If you choose to have it indoors for the Holiday, keep it inside for a short time, then move it outdoors so that it can receive the proper light and water. If they are allowed to dry out indoors, they can become very difficult to re-hydrate because the roots are so thick in their containers.
