Should my red oak be trimmed to save it?

I have a red oak(maybe 12 feet high) that nearly died last summer. With root stimulator and increased watering I was able to save it but then it had bore worms attack it this spring. I used a systemic to get rid of them. Half of the tree has leafed out but the other half appears dead. Does Calloway's have someone that I can pay to come give me an assessment?

No, we do not provide on-site consultation at this time. We recommend that you contact a certified arborist for this as they can provide you with the diagnostic services that you need.

Thanks for your inquiry.
