Tin Can Planting - Callie's Kids, 2012

Tin Can Planting

School’s out! Visit any Calloway’s or Cornelius Nursery garden center to take part in the summer series of gardening activities for children and their parents.

Recycling is good, and tin cans make nifty plant containers. Accompanied by a parent, children can pot a tomato seed and learn more about the edible tomato plant. Children are encouraged to bring their own empty, clean tin can. Join us at the garden center for this easy, fun and educational gardening event.

Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Summer Series events are offered to those who register online on a first registered, first served basis. Parents/Guardians can register on-site the day of the event as space allows. For everyone's safety and enjoyment, a maximum of three children should attend with each adult. If you are with a large group, please complete and submit our Special School Tour Form for consideration for a special group tour.

All events are free of charge, while supplies last. Attend this kid's event at any Calloway’s Nursery (Dallas and Fort Worth) or Cornelius Nursery (Houston) garden center location.
