What can I do to get rid of tiny ants in my 10" palm in my kitchen window?
The ants may have come out of the wall near the kitchen sink where the palm sits. However, I suspect there may be several in the soil. Please Help ASAP!
You can take your plant outdoors and drench the soil with any product that contains pyrethrum-type products. Some people say that Diatomaceous Earth, or DE, works well on ants without harming plants. This is a dust that you can sprinkle over the soil. If you’ve solved the issue of the ants in your kitchen, then you could use any type of over the counter powdered indoor ant killer that you find at the grocery store or hardware store to sprinkle around the window sill where you palm is located.
