STEP 1: ADD POTTING SOIL

STEP 2: ADD YOUR CYCLAMEN

Next, remove the Cyclamen plant from its container and gently break up the root ball. Make a hole in the potting soil and add your plant. Water in thoroughly until water drains out of the drain hole. Add more potting soil if needed.

HOW-TO PLANT CYCLAMEN IN FLOWERBEDS

Cyclamen are great to grow indoors and on shady patios. In the Houston area, they can also liven up your cool season flowerbeds. The showy mounds of foliage and blooms can fill your flowerbeds until the plant reaches dormancy in late Spring.

STEP 1: PREPARE THE SOIL

Before you start planting, it is important to prep the soil properly. This will help aerate the soil and create a better draining system for happy and healthy plants.

For new flowerbeds, remove rocks & debris. Till the top layer of the existing soil with 3 inches of Calloway’s Premium Flowerbed Garden Soil. For existing flowerbeds, mix 2 inches of Calloway’s Flowerbed Garden Soil into the existing soil. When your soil is prepped and ready, it is time to add your plants. Dig a hole that is double the width of the root ball and at equal depth.
