We all know summer has a schedule of its own. From camps to sleepovers, to pool time and vacations, this is a pretty busy time of year! We wanted to make things a little easier for you when it comes to dinnertime. Summer Corn Chowder is a fresh and tasty way to treat your family to a dinner that they will love.

STEP 1: COOK THE ONION AND BACON
Melt butter in a large pot. Add the diced onions and bacon pieces. Allow onions to soften while you stir frequently for about 6 minutes.
Add in the flour and garlic and let the mixture cook for another 2 minutes.
STEP 2: ADD WATER, CORN, AND POTATOES
While whisking, slowly pour in 5 cups of water and allow it to reach a boil.
Stirring constantly, add the corn and the potatoes to the pot.
Drop in 1 bay leaf for flavor and fresh blue label organic Thyme and season with salt and pepper.
Reduce heat and allow the soup to simmer for about 20 minutes until potatoes are nice and tender.
When the potatoes are ready, remove the bay leaf and stir in honey and Half & Half.
STEP 3: ENJOY
Garnish with chives and cheese, if you please, and embrace the hearty goodness with each spoonful!
