Gardening Events at Calloway’s and Cornelius Nursery

Calloway’s and Cornelius Nursery offer several educational gardening events throughout the year – many of them at no charge. Find out about special sales and garden contests as well as how we support the local community. Be the first to learn about these events by joining the Garden Club.

Learn more about some of these garden center events:

• Weekly Gardening Clinics – Each week a different gardening topic is featured for free to Texas gardeners. From soil preparation, successful vegetable gardening, show stopping color for your landscape to window sill gardening, you’re sure to learn something new!

• Special Events – Throughout the year, Calloway’s and Cornelius host several gardening events for the individual gardener and entire gardening families. The events include an educational portion where attendees can learn from one of our many Texas Certified Nursery Professionals. • Callie’s Kids Gardening – Throughout the year little gardeners ages 5 to 10 can join us and learn more about nature and gardening. They will have the opportunity to take a completed project home with them.Visit our special events page and mark your calendar now!

• Contests – Calloway’s and Cornelius Nursery as well as some of our premier vendor partners sponsor annual contests where gardeners can showcase their landscapes and displays for a chance to earn garden gift cards.
