Cacti

Cacti are a fantastic succulent choice for both beginners and seasoned plant lovers alike. Their low-maintenance nature makes them perfect for busy lifestyles, and they thrive with minimal watering and can handle bright, sunny spots that other plants might struggle with.

Grafted cacti are a striking and fun twist on traditional cacti, combining two different species into one unique plant. The top adds vibrant color and unusual shapes, while the bottom provides strength and stability. Not only do they make a bold visual statement, but grafted cacti are also surprisingly easy to care for, making them a playful and low-maintenance addition to any indoor plant collection.

Aloe Vera

watering

Aloe Vera is more than just a striking succulent; it’s a practical and soothing addition to any home. Its thick, fleshy leaves store water and gel that can be used for skin care or minor burns, making it both beautiful and functional. Aloe Vera prefers bright and sunny locations and well-draining soil, so be sure to pick a container with good drainage.

Jade

watering

The Jade plant is a classic succulent known for its thick, glossy leaves and sturdy, tree-like structure.  Its rich green color and slow, steady growth make it a striking addition to any indoor space, while its resilience makes it perfect for both beginners and experienced plant lovers. Often considered a symbol of good luck and prosperity, the Jade plant is as meaningful as it is attractive, adding both beauty and character to your home décor.

Echeveria

watering

Echeveria is a popular type of succulent featuring gorgeous rosette shapes and vibrant colors of green, blue, pink, purple, and even bicolor. This plant needs at least 4 to 6 hours of bright direct sunlight daily. They prefer well-drained soil and are drought-tolerant so they should be watered sparingly. Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering again and avoid sitting water. This variety is an excellent indoor plant as it has low care needs, however, you can also plant it in outdoor gardens like rock gardens, xeriscaping, and among other mixed succulent displays!

Sansevieria

watering

You have most likely heard of this fun variety before! Commonly known as a snake plant or mother-in-law’s tongue, this fun houseplant is low maintenance and has a striking appearance with its upright leaves and varying in color from deep greens to variegated patterns with yellow and cream edges. They can grow up to 4 feet tall depending on the variety.

Snake plants thrive in low light to bright indirect light conditions. They are drought-tolerant and should only be watered when the soil has completely dried. Fun fact: Sansevieria are also known for their ability to improve indoor air quality!

Dracaena

watering

Dracaena is a popular tropical houseplant known for its striking foliage, low maintenance requirements, and air-purifying qualities. They come in a variety of colors and sizes reaching various heights, with some species growing up to 8 feet indoors.

watering

Dracaena thrive best in bright, indirect light; however, they can tolerate low-light conditions. Make sure to water regularly in the spring and summer but reduce in the winter. Their leaves thrive best in moderate humid conditions so consider increasing humidity during the winter with some light spritzing of the leaves.

Pothos

watering

Pothos is an excellent option for beginners as it is a hardy and easy-to-care-for houseplant that thrives in various light conditions. This plant features heart-shaped waxy leaves that come in a solid bright green or variegated with white, yellow, and pale green.

We also offer this beautiful plant in hanging baskets perfect for adding a touch of trailing greenery to your windows or bright corners. Pothos is a fast-growing variety, often adding 12 to 18 inches in length each month in optimal conditions. While it thrives in bright, indirect light, it’s wonderfully adaptable and can tolerate lower light conditions, too. Just like our other featured houseplants, be sure to water only when the soil has completely dried to keep your Pothos healthy and happy.
