The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. Apparently they have a guarantee on some of their more expensive plants.

+1
They have moved their location. I like this place, but the prices are very high. I'm trying to be on a budget since the economy is going crazy with the high prices. I just bought the tomato plants that I need for this summer. And lots of flowers.

Wonderful and kind staff! The female cashier was super informative, helpful, & sweet to me. Calloway's is hands down one of the best nursery's in Dallas. I could probably explore this place for hours. I ended up purchasing two types of pepper plants, basil, and I will definitely be back. Plenty of fruit trees, beautiful flowers, wide range of herbs, gorgeous vases, etc., it gets a bit overwhelming. Calloway's also offers gardening services which is a big bonus for me. Definitely go in early, they restock Monday/Wednesday (from what I'm told). I'll definitely be back, will need input and services my front/back flower beds.

I almost had a heart attack when I saw the old location bulldozed down. Just looked on maps to see they moved. Moving my rating here since the old listing isn't valid anymore. Great store, amazing seed selection, helpful staff, Calloway is just a good place to shop for gardening stuff. Way better than giving the orange and blue stores your money.

Like many things in our gardens this will vary a little season to season, but typically after our last frost in the Spring is the time to start. You should notice grass beginning to green back up from the dormant season that will signal time to apply, this can occur from around mid-March to early April depending on the year. Another application should be made 60 – 90 days after that and then again in September to October to finish out the season.
