A family of orchids that produce multiple, short spikes of blooms in a variety of colors; an excellent plant for containers.

Dendrobium Orchid features showy spikes of variously colored orchid-like flowers atop tall stems. Its bamboo-like leaves remain dark green in color throughout the year. This is an open herbaceous evergreen houseplant with tall flower stalks held atop a tall stalk of foliage. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other indoor plants with less refined foliage. This plant should not require much pruning, except when necessary to keep it looking its best. Gardeners should be aware of the following characteristic(s) that may warrant special consideration; Disease. Dendrobium Orchid is recommended for adding color and interest to homes and commercial interior plantings. On shady patios, it can be easily moved to various locations of indirect sunlight for special events or effects.
