How to Grow Vegetables for Container Gardens
Compact or trailing tomato varieties like Tiny Temptations™ tomatoes are some of the best options for hanging baskets. Their naturally cascading growth habit allows them to spill over containers while producing hundreds of sweet cherry tomatoes, making them ideal for patios, balconies, and small gardens.
Compact sweet pepper varieties such as Peppers from Heaven™ are excellent for container gardening. These plants stay manageable in size while producing large, colorful peppers, making them perfect for pots, window boxes, and patio gardens.
Both Tiny Temptations tomatoes and Peppers from Heaven peppers grow best with at least 6–8 hours of full sun per day. Plenty of sunlight helps plants produce stronger growth, better flowering, and larger harvests.
Container vegetables typically need regular watering—often daily during warm weather. Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy, and ensure containers have good drainage to support healthy roots.
Tiny Temptations™ tomatoes can produce 250–300 sweet cherry tomatoes per plant during the season, while Peppers from Heaven plants produce multiple large sweet peppers over several harvests, making both excellent high-yield options for small spaces.
